We are Ian and Dawn Kennedy, we are dedicated classic car enthusiasts and we own and run Hydragas and Hydrolastic Service Ltd, a professional company. This is your opportunity to find out more about us, what we do and what we’re also doing to safeguard the future of this unique suspension system.
We started the business about five years ago. Initially offering a re-hosing service for the BMC 1100/1300 range of cars. Not content with just re-hosing, Ian used his engineering expertise to come up with a solution that then allowed the re-gassing of Hydragas units.
Following the demise of good quality reproduction exhausts for the BMC 1100/1300 (ADO16) range of cars, we worked with Klarius to plug the gap in the market. The result? An exhaust that looks and sounds identical to the original – so give the car it’s instantly recognisable note.
What’s to come?
As you can imagine, we’re always looking at what we can do to further prolong the life of the suspension units. For this reason, we have commissioned the manufacture of replacement fluid diaphragms for the scarcer Hydragas units and will soon be replacing these in leaking units we already have in stock, therefore returning these units to reliable and serviceable condition.
